Try our charity shop trail and discover the best of Finsbury Park’s second hand shops, whether you’re looking for a fancy dress outfit, retro clothing, classic books or vintage furniture.
Start at Holloway Road just before turning onto Seven Sisters. Drop by Cancer Research UK for books, clothing and household goods. Just next door is Oxfam, where you can view all items for sale online before you go.
Continue up towards Seven Sisters Road and reach another adjacent pair, Shelter and British Heart Foundation. Stop here for toys, shoes, books, music and household items, as well as greeting cards, pin badges and gifts.
Take a right and head up Seven Sisters Road, stopping at Scope for second hand jewellery and Sense, who also collect unwanted foreign or pre-decimal currency. Next up is the British Heart Foundation Home Store, selling sofas, beds, wardrobes, tables and chairs.
If it’s furniture you fancy, continue up towards Hornsey Road and visit Finsbury Furniture. Then stop by Marie Curie in the centre of Finsbury Park.
Finally, turn right onto Blackstock Road and try the RSPCA shop. Finish up in the House of Hodge charity bookshop, who recycle books and sell them at bargain prices, donating the profits to two cat charities.
